Mala’s partnership with Coki in the dubstep production duo Digital Mystikz saw the pair dominate the scene in the mid 2000’s, creating the platform and label DMZ which took the club scene by storm in their home of ‘Mass’ in Brixton, drawing global recognition to the genre. Mala’s Grime and reggae influenced 114-140 BPM production showcases diverse dread-infused rolling drum beats that reflect the multiculturalism and originality of London sound. His track Changes is a perfect taster for the drums that will be gracing Nijmegen nightlife this Saturday.
