De campus wordt deze week overspoeld door Nijmeegse Nieuwe. Wie zijn ze en waarom kozen ze voor de Radboud Universiteit? Vandaag: Simon Perelle (23) uit Tours, Frankrijk. Een editie in het Engels, zodat zijn internationale mede-studenten kunnen meelezen. What are you going to study? ‘Computer Science.’ Why did you choose Nijmegen? ‘I didn’t have a choice. Radboud University is the only university that has a contract with the University of Tours and that offers Computer Science courses as well.’ What are you going to miss about France? ‘My family and friends.’ What do you expect of upcoming semester? ‘To improve my English, to have fun and meet people from all over the world.’ Any specific plans? ‘I am planning on travelling all over the Netherlands and maybe even to Germany and Sweden.’ What do you like about the Netherlands thus far? ‘The country is really beautiful and I like the weather, although it might be a bit cold in winter. Besides that, I enjoy cycling. A couple of days ago I bought a bike for only thirty euros.’ What about  the international parties? ‘I enjoyed the parties so far, the bars here are great.’ / Reint-Jan Groot Nuelend
