NWO Conference ‘Shifts in Governance’

24 feb 2011

‘Governance beyond the state’ and ‘governance without government’ have been one of the most significant developments in modern societies in recent decades. After seven years of intensive research regarding this subject by well-respected researchers, an inventory of research results will be presented at the conference ‘Shifts in Governance’ on the 31st of March 2011 at the Royal Theatre, The Hague, the Netherlands. Keynote speakers from various disciplines will connect results within and between topics. Through workshops and presentations they will demonstrate what the contribution of the NWO-programme as a whole is to national and international science and politics. The summarizing study will be handed to Roel Kuiper, member of the Dutch Senate. The conference is open to everyone interested, and there are no costs involved for participation. For more information and to register (before the 24th of March), please visit www.nwo.nl/shiftsingovernance.
